CPhI Worldwide celebrates Silver Jubilee with a mega event in Paris

2014 is quite significant for CPhI Worldwide because it is celebrating its Silver Jubilee this year.
Since its inception in 1990, CPhI Worldwide, one of the leading global pharmaceutical networking event, had striven to meet the needs of exhibitors and attendees, in part using feedback and suggestions to prepare for each year’s event.
A unique event for the global pharma community, CPhI brings together pharmaceutical ingredients suppliers and buyers meet for unequalled business and networking opportunities. This leading pharmaceutical networking event, co-located with ICSE, P-MEC and InnoPack will be held at Paris Nord Villepinte, France, from October 7 to 9.
CPhI Worldwide will be offering an array of programmes and conferences alongside the world’s leading pharma supply chain exhibition. According to organisers, about 35,000 visitors and 2,300 exhibitors are expected to attend the event this year.
To celebrate 25 years of fostering partnerships and innovation in the pharmaceutical industry, CPhI will host a networking event on October 8. CPhI has asked past attendees and exhibitors to submit their success stories, highlighting how the connections they made at CPhI over the years have contributed to their business success. About 25 success stories will be featured in a special anniversary publication available after the event. During the exhibition, the winning success story will be on display through CPhI TV, while additional runner up success stories will be filmed at the exhibition on October 7.
The 25th Anniversary Dinner on October 8 will be an exclusive opportunity where key dignitaries from around the world will be joining together to celebrate 25 years of working together and building long lasting partnerships.
The first annual Women’s Networking Breakfast will provide an inspirational morning of networking, education and empowerment for women from across the pharmaceutical industry and hear from some of the pharmaceutical industry’s female thought leaders. During this breakfast, an inspirational video will be shown by Global Angels, official partner charitable organisation. CPhI is supporting this international charity that transforms disadvantaged communities around the world.
On October 8, CPhI will be hosting its inaugural CPhIChat following the release of the Annual Report. This is a first of its kind; an industry-wide Tweetchat designed to facilitate conversation on key issues affecting the industry including the implementation of QbD, innovation and IPR, green chemistry, excipient risk analysis and increased outsourcing. Media, industry professionals and experts will be asked to weigh-in on discussions and propose additional questions, promoting thought-provoking conversations.
CPhI, alongside the co-located events use a zone-based layout, set-up to ensure visitors quickly find the services and products they need. Included in the zone-based layout are country pavilions, representing many of the major and growing pharmaceutical manufacturing supply chain markets.
This year, there will be more than 16 country pavilions including those from North America, China, Brazil, India and Russia. Companies taking part in the expo include Catalent, DPx, Sandoz, Lonza and BASF, alongside attendees from all the world’s big pharma companies.
In celebrating 25 years, it is a time for CPhI Worldwide to reflect on its success in fostering business partnerships and driving innovation in the pharma industry through its growing exhibitions and programmes.
