in-Cosmetics Asia 2022 Exhibition & Conference, an annual meeting hub for the Asia Pacific cosmetic and personal care industry, was held at Bangkok, Thailand, recently.
Instrumental in bringing together exhibiting ingredient suppliers and visiting manufacturers keen to source ingredients, learn, network and do business, the show is where all areas of the cosmetics industry connect to inspire, share insights and spark potential collaborations.
In the field of ingredient innovation, it also offers high-quality education on the latest science and trends. With targeted networking opportunities for the international personal care ingredients community, one can uncover the tools to engage in new business and evolve their brand. For every visitor, personal care creator or exhibitor of ingredients, fragrances, lab equipment, testing or regulatory solutions, the show had something to offer.
There were around 500 exhibitors and as part of an Education Program, 31 papers were presented in a Technical Seminar and 18 papers were delivered as part of Marketing Trend & Regulation. There were impressive entries in Innovation Zone of more than 70 suppliers, with innovative ingredients launched within the past eight months or some at the show itself. The Spotlight was on formulated ingredients focusing on Healthy Skin and Make Up.
Innovation Zone was located in the heart of the show and it was found to be a crowd favourite.
On all three days, customers were thronging the booths in the exhibition and it was found that they were from most Asian countries and some from Europe including Ukraine. There were visitors from Russia as well. What was missing almost was representation from China. The turnover of visitors was very high, much more than the expectations. Interestingly, sustainability was at the top of agenda of customers. Kumar Organic Products Ltd had also participated in the exhibition with range of all products. A team from different facets of business of KOPL were at the booth in the exhibition.
