In anticipation of the upcoming Buyers Trade Mission (BTM) 2024, Uday Bhaskar, the Director General (DG) of Pharmexcil, has urged member companies to actively participate in this event, emphasizing its significance in expanding into the Costa Rican pharmaceutical market.
“Pharmexcil is in receipt of communication from the Embassy of India, Costa Rica and we are delighted to inform our member-exporters that the 26th edition of the BTM 2024 will be held from September 10 to 12, 2024. The program will be conducted in hybrid mode, which gives the option to interested participants to join the BTM either physically or virtually,” informed Bhaskar.
Furthermore, Bhaskar underlined the comprehensive support and services provided by the Export Promotion Agency of Costa Rica (PROCOMER) to participants. "PROCOMER offers extensive logistical support during the event, along with personal guidance to ensure a smooth and productive experience for all participants," he said.
Bhaskar expressed enthusiasm about the opportunities that BTM 2024 presents for Indian pharmaceutical exporters. He said, "The BTM serves as a crucial platform for forging valuable connections between exporters and buyers from diverse sectors. Participating in this event can open doors to new business opportunities and facilitate collaboration with trusted Costa Rican suppliers."
Bhaskar highlighted the hybrid nature of BTM 2024, offering both physical and virtual participation options. "In today's dynamic business environment, flexibility is the key. The hybrid mode of BTM 2024 allows companies to engage with international buyers and explore market prospects either in person or virtually, catering to their individual preferences and circumstances," he added.
Regarding the registration process, Bhaskar emphasized the importance of early registration due to limited space availability. "To ensure participation, interested companies are encouraged to register before the deadline on July 19, 2024. Given the high demand and limited slots, registration will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis," he noted.
Bhaskar reiterated Pharmexcil's commitment to supporting member companies in their international endeavors and encouraged them to seize the opportunity presented by BTM 2024. "We urge our member companies to actively participate in BTM 2024, whether virtually or in person, and leverage this platform to explore the vibrant Costa Rican pharmaceutical market," he concluded.
