Pharmexcil to organize India Pavilion at Belarus Medica from May 23-26, 2023 at Minsk, Belarus to boost exports

The Pharmaceuticals Export Promotion Council of India (Pharmexcil) is organising India Pavilion in Belarussian Healthcare/Belarus Medica from May 23 to 26, 2023 at Minsk, Belarus to boost exports. The Belarus Medica (Belarus Medical International Specialized Exhibition) is the country’s main fair in the field of medicine and healthcare. Belarus imports from India of pharmaceutical products were to the tune of US$ 51.5 million during 2021, according to the United Nations COMTRADE database on international trade.
Belarus, officially the Republic of Belarus, is a landlocked country in Eastern Europe. It is bordered by Russia to the east and northeast, Ukraine to the south, Poland to the west, and Lithuania and Latvia to the northwest. For more than 25 years, it has been attracting huge numbers of participants from Belarus, Russia and other countries. The participants see the exhibition as a key event to demonstrate new achievements and developments, to communicate with physicians and hospital administrators. It also serves as a platform to meet partners and potential customers.
The Belarussian Healthcare (Healthcare International Medical Forum) is the largest review of the latest achievements of medical science and health care, organised under the auspices of the ministry of healthcare of the Republic of Belarus. It has been traditionally attended by Belarusian and world medical and pharmaceutical industry leaders, developers of new technologies of diagnosis.
Udaya Bhaskar, director general, Pharmexcil informed, “In our endeavor to provide the best possible opportunity to participating companies dealing formulations and bulk drugs, Pharmexcil is organizing India Pavilion having 10 stalls in the exhibition hall with each stall is of 9 square meters in size.”
Belarus has trade relations with over 180 countries. The main trading partners are Russia, which accounts for about 45% of Belarusian exports and 55% of imports, and the EU countries, which account for 25% of exports and 20% of imports.
