The pharmaceutical industry in Russia as well as South East Asia is growing at a searing pace. With the rising economy, along with the increased healthcare investments made by the government, the Russian pharma market is all set to have a sustained and prolonged period of expansion.
Russia Pharma 2020 plan is one of the most important drivers for the Russian pharmaceutical industry. There is an influx of foreign interest as a direct result of the Russian Drug Authority’s declaration to have 80 per cent of the total pharma market supplied through local manufacturing sites by 2020. This is consequently generating greater investment into domestic facilities both from overseas companies and domestic investors.
At the same time, Southeast Asia is the fastest growing pharmaceutical market in the world witnessing double-digit growth since 2011. Governments across the ASEAN region are introducing universal healthcare programmes, with the consequential rise in demand for all categories of medicines.
The two upcoming events CPhI Russia and CPhI South East Asia serve as ideal platforms to access these thriving markets.
CPhI Russia @ IPhEB and its co-located events being held from March 30 to April 1, 2016, at the JSC VDNH (VVC) in Moscow provide a unique opportunity to initiate business and build partnerships in the booming Russian pharma market and gain access to the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and Central East European (CEE) regions.
This year the highlights of CPhI Russia include the IPhEB Conference (Forum), which offers over 80 dynamic and educational sessions, debates and roundtable discussions featuring the latest in-depth insights into this fast evolving economy.
The Speakers Corner gives a quick ‘snapshot’ of the different exhibitor offerings, trends and innovations on the exhibition floor. Additionally, the Matchmaking programme will help visitors and exhibitors find the companies that best match their business needs.
The event will bring together over 3,000 decision makers and pharma professionals from over 60 countries, making it the region's leading pharmaceutical event.
In the meanwhile, CPhI South East Asia being held from April 6 - 8, 2016, at Jakarta International Expo,is the largest gathering of professionals engaged in the research, development and manufacture of pharmaceuticals in the South East Asian region.
CPhI South East Asia offers chance to do business in a booming and expanding market, meet the movers and shakers of the South East Asian pharma industry and keep up- to- date with trending news and topics. The exhibition hosts a wide range of networking opportunities to grow business including dedicated forums, innovation tours, seminars and much more.
Another feature of the event is the Innovation Gallery showcasing the most innovative and revolutionary products within the industry.
Additionally, the P-MEC Route is a dedicated daily tour guide available for all attendees, offering a one-to-one presentation of exhibitors’ latest developments in pharmaceutical machinery and technology. And finally, the business matchmaking programme which is returning once again.
The other new co-located event this year is Health ingredients (Hi) South East Asia. This is an exciting new addition which provides access to health, functional and natural ingredients that are used in pharmaceutical, health product, food and cosmetic sectors.
The organisers are expecting around 260 exhibitors, and over 5,500 attendees. This year 19 Indian companies will be exhibiting at CPhI South East Asia – an increase from 14 last year. The event was introduced to the country only four years ago in 2012 and has expanded rapidly thanks to the vibrant ASEAN market.
