iPHEX, platform for Brand India; IM explores mind of consumer

Debunking the literary myth that April is a sterile month, the year 2016 has sprung two major expos this month – iPHEX for the Indian pharma sector and Ingredient Marketplace (IM) for the ingredients sector at large.
The three-day international pharmaceuticals and health exhibition (iPHEX) of India, being held in Mumbai at Bombay Exhibition Centre from April 27-29, 2016, is aimed at giving the Indian pharmaceutical industry an indigenous platform for promoting Brand India pharma to the world.
The major difference from the previous events and this year is the comprehensiveness. While earlier events were just focused on a particular region or a country, iPHEX 2016 will provide combined opportunity to exhibit products, services, facilities and capabilities to the world at one place.
Along with iPHEX 2016, there is also a co-located event Pharma Pro&Pack Expo 2016, which will showcase the pharma machinery manufacturer’s capabilities in advanced packaging.
iPHEX, organised by Pharmexcil, had earned reputation of one of the best ever expos in its debut itself in 2013. The success and recognition it has earned in the last three editions has encouraged the organisers to strive for more and make it a truly world-class annual business event for the healthcare sector.
This year, Pharmexcil has invited more than 500 buyers including drug regulators from focus regions and over 15,000 business visitors are expected to participate in the exhibition.
The fourth edition of iPHEX would be having many value-added services to create maximum business opportunities for exhibitors. Overall iPHEX 2016 will be offering industry majors from India and all across the world a great platform to connect and do business.
In the meanwhile, Ingredient Marketplace, annually held event for global buyers and sellers engaged in nutrition, health, food, beverage, animal nutrition and beauty ingredients businesses, will be held from April 27 to 29, 2016, at Orlando World Center Marriott, Florida, USA.
The purpose of this year's event with the theme "The Mind of the Consumer," is to ensure ways to develop products that end up in consumers’ shopping carts and analyse what’s on their minds. The event is designed to provide attendees information about how consumer demands will drive product ideation and market launch success.
The third annual B2B nutraceutical will feature the world’s top ingredient suppliers, formulators, thought leaders and marketers who will educate, demonstrate and share insights and knowledge on the emerging consumer demands that are pushing science and finished product innovation.
The biggest addition is the one-day immersive event, Probiotics Marketplace, taking place on April 27, the day before the Expo Hall opens. On April 28, the show will start off with a keynote speech about Exploring the Mind of the Sports Enthusiast.
Another new addition is SupplySide Storefronts Live, a live opportunity to gain insight into new ingredients that are positioned in key categories for healthy ageing and well-being.
While Probiotics Marketplace is a new event which will be focusing on the fast-growing probiotics sector, Reverse Happy Hour is an event open to all who are looking to network with industry colleagues while enjoying complimentary late night snacks and cocktails.
The Sports Nutrition Panel Discussion will be featuring two industry experts who will be offering insights on the trends, cutting-edge science and the ingredients that will power future successful launches.
Moreover two Storefronts Live presentations will be covering market trends and ingredient solutions driving product development in both the healthy ageing space and also for products that help optimise well-being in general.
