DoP announces Indian Pharma and Medical Devices Awards 2022

The seventh edition of India Pharma and Indian Medical Device 2022, organised by the Department of Pharmaceuticals and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), has announced the India Pharma Awards 2022, and India Medical Device Awards 2022, to various pharmaceutical and medical devices industry players, which were handed over by Bhagwanth Khuba, Minister of State for the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilisers on April 27.
The Indian Pharma Leader of the Year award was bestowed to Cipla Ltd, while the award for India Pharma Innovation of the Year was conferred upon Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd. The Indian Pharma (Formulation) Award winner is Micro Labs Ltd.
Zydus Lifesciences Ltd has been announced as the winner of Indian Pharma CSR of the year award, for its works in rural healthcare. Glenmark Pharmaceuticals is the runner-up and Lupin Ltd is the second runner-up in this category.
The India Medical Device Leader of the Year was awarded to Poly Medicure Ltd. Runner-up for the medical device leader of the year award was conferred upon Healthium Medtech Ltd and the second runner up was awarded to Transasia Bio-Medicals Ltd.
The India Medical Device Company of the Year award was bestowed to Chennai-based Trivitron Healthcare Pvt Ltd, while the runner up for the award was Nice Neotech Medical Systems Pvt Ltd and the second runner up under the category was Kanak Latex Industries Pvt Ltd.
Nice Neotech Medical Systems Pvt Ltd was announced as the winner under the category of India Medical Device MSME of the Year, while Premium Healthcare Disposables Pvt Ltd was the runner up and AVI Healthcare Pvt Ltd was the second runner up under the category.
Vanguard Diagnostics Pvt Ltd, which is into manufacturing of high quality in-vitro diagnostics reagents and products, was announced as the winner under the category of Indian Medical Device Start-up of the Year. Vapi-based Meril Lifesciences Pvt Ltd was conferred upon as the winner under the category of Indian Medical Device Innovation of the Year award.
