Out of the total 1,472 acres, Detailed Project Report (DPR) for Phase-I of Lalitpur Bulk Drugs Park spread in an area of 352.91 acres has been approved by the Uttar Pradesh (UP) government along with environmental clearances. Besides this, 1,100 acres of second phase is also ready for public private partnership.

With an estimated cost of Rs. 1560 crore, Lalitpur Bulk Drugs Park, one of the flagship initiatives of Government of UP, presents a strong and competitive value proposition for active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), formulations, bulk drugs, and intermediates. UP government also recently held discussions with pharma companies in Telangana to discuss Lalitpur Bulk Drugs Park in UP as part of the strategic roadmap to unlock investment opportunities.

In order to boost investments in the state pharma industry, UP government is also in discussions with other pharma associations and bodies from across the country.  

The Lalitpur Bulk Drugs Park has state of the art facilities with plug and play infrastructure with close proximity to Bina Refinery for raw materials. The park also offers green/clean solutions and support for MSME development. The project in the Bundelkhand region is expected to attract investments exceeding Rs. 12,000 crore, according to the Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA), which is the promoter of the project.

It is equipped with modern facilities like roads, power, drainage, gas, and common effluent treatment plants (CETPs), operating under zero liquid discharge (ZLD) principles.

The Lalitpur Bulk Drugs Park Site is located within the influence zone of Delhi Nagpur Industrial Corridor (DNIC) Region (150km on both-sides of NH44). It is 125 Km from Khajuraho Airport, 270 Km from Gwalior Airport and 177 Km from Datia Airport.

Lalitpur Bull Drugs Park integrated infrastructure comprises of a road of 3.29 kms, boundary fencing and storm water drains of 8.0 Kms each. It also houses 6.28 Acres of common logistics, 7,900 square metres (Sqm) of common laboratory, centre of excellence and emergency response centre of 2,600 Sqm each.

It is equipped with solid waste management (SWM) of 3.53 TPD, steam generation and distribution of 75 TPH, common warehousing of 2013 sqm, solvent storage yard of 240 KL, solvent recovery of 60 KL per day, 24x7 quality water of 6.44 MLD WTP, distribution network, waste water management (WWM) of 4.57 MLD CETP, reliable power of 33/11 KV SS (2 Nos.) and smart solutions in the form of CCTV surveillance.
