This will pave way to streamline the process of finding the ingredients, contract manufacturers, packaging companies and aid in successful launches of the finished products.

“This year, our new Featured Panel Discussion covers adulteration and our role in delivering products to consumers that meet their promise of quality, safety and efficacy. The recent actions by the NY Attorney General calling into question the authenticity of herbal extracts and products sold at several major retailers, as well as requesting quality data from their manufacturers, is causing huge impacts for the industry. We are once again bringing back the popular Trends In Presentations which include free education on five trending ingredients. According to Szeto, around 4,000+ attendees including CPG decision-makers are expected to attend this year's show. Approximately 300 exhibitors will be participating, as she mentioned that new location for the event 2015 at Orlando, Florida, was expected to offer a higher return of investments for both attendees and exhibitors. This is also considered as one of the top three geographic locations for attendees as the entire show is taking place under one roof room the expo and conference, to the hotel, restaurants and networking opportunities.

The newly introduced hot topics highlights the top 10 hottest ingredients and the exhibitors who offer ingredients and solutions within each category covering various topics such as immune health, weight management, and protein.

“Such topics as immune health, weight management, protein and more are highlighted so attendees may find new products, new research, new applications, unique market strategies and ideas,” states Szeto.

Some of the topics which will discussed are 'Trends in Sweeteners, Probiotics, Hemp, Omega-3s and Protein,' 'Adulteration & Your Role in Delivering Value to Consumers: Quality, Safety & Efficacy,' ‘GMP - 21 CFR 111 Dietary Supplement Overview,’ 'Ayurveda - Phosphatidylinositol and Its Role in Cellular Functions,' '-Ahiflower Oil', -Longvida(r) Optimised Curcumin.

Key Features of Panel Discussions
Adulteration & Your Role in Delivering Value to Consumers: Quality, Safety & Efficacy will be discussed on April 8, 2015. Panelists - Mark Blumenthal, founder & executive director, American Botanical Council; Dan Dwyer, managing partner, Kleinfeld, Kaplan and Becker, LLP; Steve Mister, president & CEO, Council for Responsible Nutrition. The recent actions by the NY attorney general calling into question the authenticity of herbal extracts and products sold at several major retailers, as well as requesting quality data from their manufacturers, is causing huge impacts for the industry. Experts, even some who have been critical of the supplement industry, have come forward challenging the NY attorney general’s testing methods, conclusions and continued press for information in areas regulated by FDA.

The panellists will discuss its long-term impact on consumer confidence and sales of dietary supplements, what can be done to mitigate the damage or even turn things to rectify the mistakes, on a larger perspective what can  the industry do in order to address any quality efficacy and the existing adulteration problems.

Training Courses
The event will also include an extensive two-day training course which will cover 21 CFR 111, the current good manufacturing practices (cGMPs) in manufacturing, packaging, labelling or holding operations for dietary supplements.

This course is geared to individuals involved in the dietary supplement industry including those from areas such as manufacturing, management quality control/assurance, laboratory operations, labelling, auditing, suppliers and distributors, and regulatory affairs. These guidelines are intended to apply to dietary supplements as defined and covered by the US Food and Drug Administration's Code of Federal Regulations Title 21, Part 111 (Current Good Manufacturing Practices in Manufacturing, Packaging, Labelling, or Holding Operations for Dietary Supplements) also known as 21 CFR Part 111.

GMP is the surest way to increase the market credibility, underscores the commitment to public safety and assures that the products have strength, composition, quality and purity specified on labels. The recent increase in FDA inspections and enforcement emphasise the importance of knowing GMPs inside and out.

TRENDSIN ----- Education on hot five ingredients
This education event will be held from April 8-9, and is expected to deliver critical market information across five hot ingredient categories; to cater to the latest market research on purchasing trends and sales, and discover examples of new products that illustrate how the ingredient is being used in the global consumer market. Taking place in the Expo Hall, these 30-minute presentations will aid to obtain data that can guide the purchasing and product development decisions in an increasingly challenging global market place formulators and marketers who are constantly looking to differentiate their products.

According to Tom Vierhile, innovation insights director, Datamonitor Consumer, hemp is a healthful ingredient with an identity crisis. A nutritional powerhouse in seed and oil form, hemp is often confused with marijuana since the plants are similar in appearance. But this is an unfair comparison since hemp contains a negligible amount of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and does not have a psychoactive effect.

Hemp is finally beginning to receive the respect it deserves as consumers and product marketers begin to see hemp as a great source of protein, heart-healthy Omega-3 fatty acids, and more. This presentation will look at the health properties of hemp, and how marketers of foods, drinks and supplements are beginning to warm to using hemp seeds and hemp oil in new products. We will also look at how perceptions of hemp are changing, and if this unique ingredient may indeed emerge as the next “superfood” superstar.

Topics on the trends in sweeteners, Ahiflower oil, a non-GMO ingredient, Omega 3 fatty acids, proteins and probiotics will also be included in the presentations and discussions.

It is said that Ahiflower oil is the richest, most effective combined Omega 3-6 fatty acid source from a single, non-genetically modified plant. Ahiflower’s uniquely high stearidonic acid (SDA) provides three-times better eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) conversion in human tissues than flaxseed oil—and its beneficial gamma linolenic acid (GLA) content makes Ahiflower a single-source vegan Omega 3-6-9 solution. Unlike flax, Ahiflower is a traceable, proprietary and novel Omega-rich oil. This stage will provide an opportunity to discover how Ahiflower can enhance Omega 3-6 benefits, sustainability and taste appeal in your products.

That’s why the event is organising “Campfire Chat,” taking place on the West Terrace outside of the hotel. “Talk Shop” with Informa experts and industry colleagues – or simple relaxation by treating to late night snacks and cocktails on Ricera American, Santosflora USA, and B. Altman while learning about the innovative ingredients they are bringing to the marketplace - a fun – and productive – way to end the day.

Last year's event
The event was built around the fact that "What's Inside Matter" as consumers were out to seek products that are healthy, effective and sustainable on a show floor of exhibitor booths that acted as storefronts more so. The successful Trends in Presentations zeroed in on nine hot ingredients driving the market and were free for all attendees to attend.
