Credihealth, online healthcare startup connecting patients with
hospitals, is planning to foray into diagnostic business in early 2018.
This would include both pathology and radiology. For the same, the
healthcare startup has started building a network of diagnostic centres
across the 10 cities where it operates currently.
Currently it
has taken more than 150 diagnostic centres onboard in 10 cities
including Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Chennai, Indore,
Pune, Jaipur, Ranchi, Mumbai and plans to reach a count of 1000
diagnostic centres in these cities by early next year.
"We have
been doing diagnostic through our hospital network till now, however, we
believe that having stand-alone diagnostic centres onboard will ease
out management of medical needs for Credi patients even further," said
Ravi Virmani, founder, Credihealth.
The diagnostic service will
help patients compare rates of diagnostic service providers and book
appointments. Started its operation in 2014 the healthcare startup
currently offers users to access verified information on hospitals and
doctors, compare customer feedback and get cost estimates. Besides this,
patients can also access diagnostic services, home healthcare services
and medical loan through Credihealth platform.
The company has
tied up with 630 hospitals in 10 cities so far. Our aim is to help users
get access to all healthcare services at affordable rate through our
platform. The company is fast expanding its footprint pan India to
ensure people get quality care. It is planning to partner with 170
hospitals more by the end of 2017 taking the number of hospitals on
board to 800. By then the startup plans to increase presence in 15
cities. Over the next couple of months it will start operations in Kochi
and Ahmedabad, he said.
Credihealth launched 24*7 ambulance
services in metro cities- Delhi NCR, Hyderabad and Chennai. It is going
to start ambulance service in four more cities Mumbai, Kolkata,
Bengaluru and Pune by next month.
Our aim is to help people reach
hospital at the earliest and get treated. We don't charge patients.
Patients are required to pay ambulance providers for the service, said
Virmani.
We are planning to invest Rs.100
crore in the next three years to augment technology and infrastructure
for expansion in new geographies pan India. By 2020 the company aims to
clock 15 per cent market share with a revenue of Rs.500
crore. Currently it gets 18-19 per cent growth monthly. By then it aims
